THE AUTHOR

Paul D. Knott received his BA from Southern Methodist University in 1963 and his Ph.D. from Vanderbilt University in 1967. He has published numerous articles in scientific journals and two books. He has worked as a research scientist, a university-level teacher, a clinical psychologist, and administrator in psychology.
